[RESOLVED] System restore + update to 2.6.6.7rc1 borks Fx

Fx 17.0.7, Mac OS X 10.7.4. After doing a full system restore from Time Machine backup and updating Noscript to 2.6.6.7rc1, Firefox has been behaving strangely. First thing I noticed was that Scriptish disabled itself mid-session. Then, on startup, the menus on the top of the screen won't show up until the first window opens (they should show up almost right away); on exit, the system console gets spammed with this:

I've already updated NoScript to 2.6.6.8rc1 and tried all the standard troubleshooting suggestions (reboot computer, new profile, reinstall Firefox, get rid of the plist file) and it hasn't helped. I don't think this is a profile-related issue because I'm using a copy of that same profile right now on a VM without issues. Nothing shows up in Firefox's error console. Any ideas what is happening and how to fix this?
Also I would have registered but the lack of HTTPS support has me too paranoid for that. Could the admin please consider adding HTTPS support to this forum?

What makes you think NoScript has anything to do with this?
Most likely thing is that the system restore broke something in your browser
profile.
Please try both uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox and using a fresh Firefox
profile.

Because Firefox was acting normally after system restore and before updating NoScript.

Creating a new profile was the first thing I tried, and it didn't change the situation. As for uninstall/reinstall of Firefox, I haven't found any complete instructions for how to do this. Mozilla claims that it's enough to delete Firefox.app and the profile folder, but apparently that isn't the case as I found a lot of Firefox-related system files. Deleting Firefox.app, the profiles folder, and the system files I found didn't solve the problem, but I'm not sure if what I did was a complete uninstall. Could you please provide or link to complete instructions for uninstalling Firefox on a Mac?

Do you mean a clean
profile without NoScript does not change the situation?
Then it's surely not NoScript-related.
You've also been given correct instructions about uninstalling Firefox on Mac OS X (delete Firefox.app).
I'm afraid your best bet now is
filing a bug in Mozilla's bug tracker, sorry.

Thanks for your help, Giorgio, and sorry about the confusion. I will file a bug report with Bugzilla as suggested.
Apparently the startup issue is entirely caused by Adblock Plus. As for the strange behavior and error messages, I tried installing Firefox 18.0.2 and so far none of that is happening. So I think we can say this issue is resolved for now.
