Hi,
I updated to Seamonkey 1.1.6 and tried to install noscript 1.9.3.3 as it was suggested.
The download worked, but noscript did not install. There was no sign of noscript, eg. no icon in the right lower corner.
Then I tried version 1.9.2.8 - and it worked well, except it is not shown in seamonkey's add-on list.
Is that behavior known and is there an easy explanation for it?
Best regards,
G. Voland.

Try the unofficial development build.
PS: Never knew SeaMonkey had an "add-on list".
Further discussion here, NoScript Installed but appears AWOL...+ Seamonkey 1.x streamlined installation process (profile local
installations are not supported anymore, but switching to
browser-wide is automatic on update)
+ Seamonkey 1.x automatic uninstall procedure (button provided in
NoScript Options)

Re: noscript does not install in Seamonkey 1.1.16
OK, I' m using Win XP and noscript 1.9.2.8 installs and works in Seamonkey 1.1.16.
To me that looks more like a noscript problem then one of Seamonkey.
At the moment 1.9.2.8 has to do.
PS: Its called "About Plug-ins" under Help.
