"[NoScript ClearClick] Swallowed event mouseup"/no pop-up?
"[NoScript ClearClick] Swallowed event mouseup"/no pop-up?
I saw this message in Console only, after visiting and navigating within site. It was not accompanied by a warning pop-up. I've seen several of these before in Console, again without the Clickjacking warning pop-up. NS must have been at work, but I'm wondering what's going on when this happens without seeing the pop-up. Thanks.

Still puzzled about the meaning of this. Can anyone please help? Thanks.

Re: "[NoScript ClearClick] Swallowed event mouseup"/no pop-up?
There should be no problem there, unless you're unable to interact with the Flash applet.
The messages you're getting are diagnostic ones because NoScript swallows/redirects some events "preemptively", before checking if everything is "clear".
If you don't get the popup and you're still able to use the applet, you shouldn't be worried.
BTW, did you by any chance disable the "Clearclick warning" box in NoScript Options|Notifications?

Yeah. There seemed to be a problem with the site for Flash. I allowed the Flash and the Site, but Flash content still wouldn't display. Just got an all gray box--control clicking showed it was supposed to be Flash-- within a page. Why would that have been happening? Is that the Flash Applet you speak of? (Could this loss of function for Flash also be related to my not allowing any Flash cookies in Adobe Settings Manager, and that I clean them out of the computer? No problems with Flash, though, elsewhere). There should be no problem there, unless you're unable to interact with the Flash applet.
No. Warning is still checked.BTW, did you by any chance disable the "Clearclick warning" box in NoScript Options|Notifications?
Thanks Giorgio.

Yes, but the Flash applet (which displays a PDF document "live") works fine for me.kukla wrote:There seemed to be a problem with the site for Flash. Maybe you're accidentally blocking it with something else, e.g. Adblock Plus?

Thanks. Yes it could be ABP. I'll look into that.

i have a similar problem here (clearclick flag is checked, adblock disabled)
[NoScript ClearClick] Swallowed event mouseup on A/0 at http://meteo.sf.tv/sfmeteo/index.php
there is no clearclick warning. it will only works if I disable NoScript. Can sombody tell me how I can disable just ClearClick? It a problem which I'm facing with a couple of sites. So i think disabling ClearClick should be still saver then disabling the whole NoScrip-plugin.

Re: "[NoScript ClearClick] Swallowed event mouseup"/no pop-up?
You probably just need to disable it for trusted sites, from NoScript Options|Plugins (you've got two checkboxes in the "ClearClick protection" line near the bottom, one for untrusted, one for trusted).psychy wrote:Can sombody tell me how I can disable just ClearClick?
