NoScript icon only visible in second firefox window opened

Hi,

I have configured my NoScript Icon to show up in the navigation bar next to the reload icon. Since about the update to Firefox 19 or 20, the Icon does not show up anymore in the first window started from the OS. I did reset the config, reinstalled an elder version and upgraded however I can not get this fixed. In the first window opened, the Noscript Icon does not show up (not even as an Icon to be dropped to the add-On bar, ...). As soon I tell the browser to open up a second window, everything is fine. This is independant of the mode the second window is opened.
Please note, this is for the german Firefox on the PCs I use only, for the english version I use on an one PC, I do not have the issue.

Any clue, what the reason might be?

Thanks in advance.

Are you starting from Session Restore?
If so, about how many windows are restoring?

Does the problem persist if you disable all other extensions except for NoScript?

What plugins do you have?

So this occurs for you on multiple PC's, multiple Profiles?

It then also shows up in the first window?

Screenshot showing where you have the icon?
Steps followed in opening FF?
What are your FF startup settings, Wenn FF gestartet wird: ?

I encountered the same error today.
In my case the cause of this problem was the active plugin "Avira SearchFree Toolbar plus Web Protection" associated with the Avira Antivirus Software.
Up until now both plugins didn't seem to affect each other, but deactivating the plugin solved the issue for me.

Maybe the same reason in my case. I have now reinstalled FF from scratch, as I even could not open new windows anymore. So far everything works but the Avira add-on is not yet installed.
BTW: the way to start the browser did not matter. The first window launched never had the NoScript Icon, all subsequent windows did.
