Files downloaded with .php extension

Post by nagan »

At this site clicking on the placeholder or the MP3 tag downloads the file with .php extension eventhough it actually is MP3 and playable.

Probably something to do with the link URL. I'm not sure how Giorgio would prefer to handle that.

(They block right-click - If you have JavaScript enabled.)

If I use Browser Built-in, with the MP3 icon, it downloads & is named correctly, & as a .mp3.

If I use my download manager (Net Transport), I get the .php, but it is not a valid MP3 file (just a text file, "<strong>We are Sorry !</strong><br /> Tray Again Later").

Code: Select all

/download.php?f=Ilaiya%20Nila%20Poligirathu.mp3&fc=0&lid=1 HTTP/1.1

If you start the playback, the FlashGot Media icon picks things up properly.
