Dear noscript developpers,
I would like to report a situation which may be considered as an error.
Using firefox 3.0.10 with noscript 1.9.2.8 under SUSE 11.1 64-bit I can not login to the German government finance administration website http://www.elsteronline.de.
The login requires presenting a formerly received software certificate together with a PIN (all via a JAVA applet).
But login to elsteronline is refused with an error code, when noscript is installed in the browser, and even deactivating noscript is not sufficient to overcome the error.
Additional description of the error is given: The summary of this is that one should allow cookies (which is allowed in my browser).
Apparently a JSESSIONID cookie is set during the process to identify the session while being logged in.
All that helps is completely uninstalling noscript, which not really is an option.
Best regards
Karl

Re: reuired cookies not set when noscript is installed ?????
If disabling NoScript from Tools|Add-Ons did not help, I doubt it has anything to do with NoScript (notice, though, that for the disablement being effective you must restart the browser).
However NoScript doesn't interfere with cookies unless you enabled the NoScript Options|Advanced|HTTPS|Cookie|Automatic secure cookie management preference.
