NoScript update deletes previous whitelisted sites

Hi,

The last few times I have updated NoScript on both my new and old Macs I have noticed that many sites that I had previously "allowed" are no longer allowed. These were sites I use frequently and had " allow all" and not a "temporarily allow" setting. I use Firefox in different versions on these computers. I also use Firefox on a Windows netbook, but do not have the vanishing permissions problem there. anyone else experiencing this?

Perhaps related to sync or something like that?

In general (suppose there could be exceptions for particular sites during a particular update?) an update should not affect any whitelisting.

I've never set anything to sync or not sync in Firefox. This problem has only happened in the last 3 or so updates of Firefox, so I don't think it could be the way my profile is set up. Seems to be a NoScript problem.

How would I check what is "syncing"?

When I check my whitelist, it has many, many sites on it that I have allowed, so it's not as if they are all being wiped off. And these are not sites that I would have given temporary only permission to. They tend to be sites I use fairly often.

Could this be a matter of the allowed site then authorizing scripts from x,y,z that I had not previously allowed, so NoScript blocks the original site on update? Hope that makes sense.
Thank you.

I know nothing of sync, so if you are not using it, then that should not be the issue.

I don't think there is an automated (setting method) to add/remove sites from the whitelist?
AFAIK the only way for a change to occur is for the user to do it?
(A Reset, Import or Export obviously can.)
