The only way I can get the Ubiquity add-on (https://wiki.mozilla.org/Ubiquity) to work is to disable NoScript. I can't seem to find any way to allow the scripts to work. Am I missing something or is this something that is being looked at for future releases? I love NoScript and don't want to surf without it, but Ubiquity is quite useful. Any guidance will be greatly appreciated!!!

What exactly does "doesn't work" mean?
Could you outline steps to reproduce?
I do use Ubiquity (even if not very intensively, almost only to translate stuff) and it appears to work.
Anyway, should some functionality not work, that would be likely due to content (unprivileged) scripts being injected in an untrusted page.
If this is the case, some work-arounds are possible but on the Ubiquity side. More in general, NoScript does its best to play nice with other extensions, but some extensions are designed in a way that is incompatible with content script blocking and the work-around should be implemented on their side.

try adding "about:ubiquity" to your whitelist.

The command I'm trying to use is the map function. It just has a blue outlined box but the map doesn't show up. If I disable NoScript, it works fine. I added about:ubiquity to my whitelist and Ubiquity still isn't working with NoScript. Any other suggestions? Thanks!

There is a new bug!

Ubiquity uses a new map site => maps.stcstm.org
But i can't allow this site:



("erlauben" => allow )

First i tried to allow maps.stcstm.org. it does not work.
Than i tried to allow only stcstm.org. it does not , too.
Then i tried to allowe a fictitious site (I only put a "m" in front of the URL) and i can allow this site.

Why i can't allow maps.stcstm.org?

The most likely reason is that either maps.stcstm.org or stcstm.org are already in your whitelist. Please check.

If NoScript is disabled is I can see the map.

I had the same problem. After extensive searching, trial and error I realized that the cause was file:// being blocked. This is not apparent in the NoScript options dialogue, since for some reason, whilst there is a maintenance dialogue for white-listed domains, there is no corresponding dialogue for blocked ones. One can nevertheless fix this by either manually removing file:// from the noscript.untrusted preference directly in about:config or by loading any local file into Firefox and then enabling file:// from the NS status bar menu.
