According to my antivirus web log, when I was redirected to noscript.net because of the notice about the new version 2.6.4.3, there was a lot of material loaded from some site called addelive.com. I also remember seeing an ad in the left side of the page somewhat below the NoScript "install"-button, despite using Adblock+.
I have visited noscript.net a couple of times since, and saw no ads and no mention of addelive.com in the logs these subsequent visits. Is it a legitimate partner of NoScript?

Re: ads on noscript.net
I don't see any ads at all in the left-hand column directly below the "Install" button at noscript.net, even with all blocking tools disabled.
I'm not aware of any ad partner by that name, and in fact a Startpage search (https://startpage.com) shows no mention of a site or company by that name, other than your post, which is at the top of the list.
Unless Giorgio tells us of such a temporary arrangement, I would consider the possibility that malware or adware placed these things, and do a complete scan of the machine with your anti-virus software. Please let us know the result, thanks.

Re: ads on noscript.net
I only saw it on this page: noscript.net/?ver=2.6.4.3&prev=2.6.4.2, and haven't seen it since. If I try to type in the address, I'll just get returned to the default noscript.net site, with no ads.
I have done full anti-virus scans with Avast and Malwarebytes' Antimalware, set to highest sensitivity , and haven't found anything. Also, I have not seen suspicious ads anywhere else.
If I look up addelive.com on domaintools.com, it seems to be registrered through the same companies, and hosted by the same sites, as recomendedsite.com and afdads.com, which are ad sites I have seen mention of on this forum.

It is, in facts. It replaces recomendedsite.com.User190113 wrote:it seems to be registrered through the same companies, and hosted by the same sites, as recomendedsite.com and afdads.com, which are ad sites I have seen mention of on this forum.

Thanks for the update, Giorgio. Strange that a search of the entire Web found nothing at all about that company.Giorgio Maone wrote:It is, in facts.
