[Resolved] Noscript address bar tag not working, help please

I have a windows installation where no matter what I do, the noscript buttons that work on other windows installations allowing me to select what sites I have or don't have script on, don't work! They are grayed out! So I can't select them to see the drop down menus I can see on all other windows installs! I've tried reinstalling firefox, though I didn't erase profiles in the reinstall but I'm not going to go about erasing all my profiles and bookmarks on the slight whim of a possibility this would solve this annoying issue that has consumed the better part of the last 3 hours for me.

Ah, yes, well it must have been that yes. However to an extent. The firefox on this windows insists on having two buttons. How can I get it back to one button?

And when I select allow Never, both buttons are greyed out. It only works when I select Always, as the temporarily allow all this page button comes back to life.

You'll notice I can't enable entire domains in this situation. The basic issue of the two buttons appears at the top left hand corner, but it has also brought a lot of protagonism to the bottom, where I now have to use the footer a lot. The footer allows me to temporarily enable pages, not domains, so every time a new page comes up, I have to go about enabling.

The browser could be useable without noscript's features. But what makes the browser practically unusable is that whenever I do decide to allow script globally, something stops this order from being carried through; at the footer, a line saying something like this:

allowed.untrusted-gib | <SCRIPT> 37 | <OBJECT> : 0

As you can see in my screenshot, whenever I clickon Options in the footer, the possibility of clicking a domain is greyed out, mysteriously.

So the situation is thus: I can only make it work, with scripts forbidden globally, and me going about enabling scripts page by page!

Uncheck NoScript Options|Appearance|Status bar label and set the HTTPS option to "Never".

Gotcha, thanks a lot, it works fine now.

Btw, how can I get the two buttons beside the address bar to be one, like on the other windows I've tried it on? Maybe it's a new feature, as this is an updated firefox, and the old one-button feature has been deprecated?

Righ click on any toolbar and select "Customize".
Then drag the two buttons you've got on the address bar into the "Customize Toolbars window", and move the one you've got in the status bar up to the address bar.
