[Resolved] NS icon gone on SeaMonkey status bar

Hi gang,
The topic says it all; normally the NoScript icon would sit in the lower right corner (status bar) in SeaMonkey but for some reason its completely gone. The plugin is still active as can be seen by using the add-on manager, the option that it should display a status bar icon is explicitly turned on and the only thing which has changed on my setup is most likely the last update of NoScript.
I removed / re-installed NoScript to no avail, I read in another topic that rebooting could sometimes work; no avail. I also noted the other threads but since those all covered FireFox I figured I'd better start a new one. Also because the solutions I found in those other threads don't apply to SeaMonkey (for example I can't drag something onto the status bar).
I also updated both programs manually to their latest versions, but no avail. I'm using SeaMonkey 2.14.1 and NoScript 2.6.4.2.
Note that I didn't try to install the latest NoScript development build; I'm a little weary of beta code since I need this environment for my work. But as said I did remove & re-install.
Finally; having another user account fire up the browser (so pristine settings) also makes no difference. Using that account (admin account) I also forced all NoScript settings to be reset; that too didn't fix the problem.
To "fix" the problem (get me at least some control) I turned on the option to display a notification about blocked sites and that notification does get shown. At least this helps me to (temporarily) allow sites, but obviously its not the best solution.
Thanks in advance for any comments
