Hi,

Is there any way to configure existing downloaders to use different parameters? e.g. to tell axel to use e.g. 20 connections instead of 4 and a different display type? Currently I've just created a shell script which then calls axel with the custom parameters as a workaround.

I'd like that functionality as well. Anyone have an answer? If this isn't possible, then I'd like to add this as a feature request.

If the download manager in question allows you to set those options from the command line, then yes, it's possible.
