feature request: information bar pushes page down

A small request, if it's possible. I prefer to have my information bar at the top so that I always look in the same place as blocked pop ups, etc. The problem for me is that it pushes the page down until it disappears and then the pages moves up again. Since I block scripts on most of the pages I look at, there is a ton of movement which gets annoying. Would it be possible to make the information bar at the top sit over the page until it disappears?

Thanks,
Greg

NoScript | Options -> uncheck, Place message at the bottom

That should cause the message to appear at the top.

You could also go a step beyond and click the box above it that will make it not show at all. I have it that way because there are sites I don't want to put as untrusted explicitly and I don't want to allow them either but like them to remain in limbo block but don't want the bar to annoy me on top (or bottom). SO there is always that too and I use the icon states as my cue and I click that to make my decisions batch on the sticky menu. Just something else to consider, sharing a niche style.

I doubt it, Greg. I recall seeing this asked before, but I can't find the answer. But, if I recall correctly, NoScript uses the built-in Firefox mechanism for the notification bar when it's displayed at the top of the page. Pushing down the page so none of the page is obscured is just how it works. In any event, I'm sure the developer will see your request and consider it.
