I don't seem to reproduce this on other sites, but I seem to have an issue with only Amazon.com. If I block all scripts I am fine, but once I allow scripts from the domain images-amazon.com and start browsing Amazon it is only a matter of time until the browser completely locks up and I have to quit since I can no longer click tabs, any icons within the browser or links within the webpage.
Browser:
Mozilla Firefox for Ubuntu canonical - 1.0 (v.16.0.2)
Noscript 2.6.1
OS:

Re: images-amazon.com and browser lockup
Just did some troubleshooting whilest trying to reproduce the error and having the error console open (console2 [squared]) and I received the following messages when the browser locked up:
http://pastebin.com/7LTUP7JX <-- error messages
I only had two tabs open, weather.com and amazon.com. It locked up as I switched to amazon.com. This does not seem to be related to weather.com despite the messages, I receive the lockup even when using amazon.com and many other sites. And again, it only happens once I allow images-amazon.com.

Re: images-amazon.com and browser lockup
The XSS look to be related to weather.com.
The CVE-2009-3555 are immaterial.
Was just on amazon yesterday, allowed the various images-* & ssl.images*, all without incident.
As a test, create a new, clean Profile & see if that exhibits the same symptoms.

Actually, this is a clean profile since I had an issue last week with an update. I will however give it a try with a clean profile and only noscript installed as another test and report back.
On another note, I do use firefox sync and I do not face this issue in Windows with the same synchronized profile, but Linux does have the issue.
