Not communicating filespec from flashgot to flashget

Hi.

I did a fresh install of flashget and flashgot, with firefox and Windows 7. But when I try to use flashgot to initiate the download, the filespec doesn't get communicated to flashget (the filespec does not show up in flashget on its list of files to be downloaded). I tried installing again, with the same result. What can I try to fix it?
