Hi,

Firefox creates .tmp files inside its own root folder: "D:\PortableApps\PortableApps\FirefoxPortable" directory. The number of these .tmp files are multipying every time I saw them.

I have explained the issue here: h t t p : / / p o r t a b l e a p p s . c o m / n o d e /35082 with more detailed. Plase read it.

I'm waiting for your help...

Thanks in advance

Did you try changing the temporary folder setting in FlashGot Options|Advanced?

No, I did not. Because it is:

C:\Users\myusername\AppData\Local\Temp

which is true location (which is using properly also by other portable apps).

My tmp files are creating on Firefox's root folder which path is:

D:\PortableApps\PortableApps\FirefoxPortable

How are these files named?
Could you show me your FlashGot Options|Advanced|Show Log output?

EDIT from Thrawn (adding inline):
There are many tmp files. Please look my link on my first post.

I'm sending my post on the other forum(the link which I write on my first message):

I am using 90% Chrome as browser. I very often use Firefox.

Firefox creates .tmp files inside its own root folder: "D:\PortableApps\PortableApps\FirefoxPortable" directory. The number of these .tmp files are multipying every time I saw them.

I try to remove them but they are re-creating themselves automatically.
I try to remove - install FirefoxPortable but it did not solve the problem.

I had the problem since 2 month, but I forgot to write here on the forums.

I make always the updates of PortableApps platform.

I use Windows 7 64 bit. My Windows is installed on C:\ drive. But PortableApps located on D:\ drive. I have the problem on my 3 machines. I just have installed FlashGot extension.

The files are 0 kb (empty). The dir command output is:

To understand if the problem depends on FlashGot, I remove all personal datas and FlashGot extension. So I don't have any log file at the moment.

But you can also try it by downlading the portable Firefox from portabellapps.com and FlashGot plug-in.
