Hi again,
Sorry, I forgot to mention the URL. This is the one to save choosing "temporarily allow..."

(I put it in two lines so that it will show complete)
I have already checked the TS pages. But they dont cover THIS particular problem.

Thanks..

Hello, and welcome to our family-friendly forum. When posting here, please do not use any expletives or profanity, either in username or in the post itself. I have edited these for you. Please review Forum Rules, especially #4, before continuing.
IE page shows "done" but page is white
If you have this problem in IE also, then clearly it is not a Firefox-related issue, much less a NoScript issue. It is probably related to the language of that page as compared to how your computer and browser are localized for language. Perhaps changing some language settings in each might help.

Thanks for the info...
Some development happened. The pages DO open up, but after a long time. It happened when I forgot to close them, only to discover that the saved page later appeared !!! It might be a IE problem exclusively. But wouldnt a Firefox-related script delay the appearance of a page even if it is on an IE one ? We're talking about a pc that is delayed by scripts, right ?

You will need to be more specific about the exact steps needed to produce this issue, and on which browser.

Are you running both browsers at the same time? The point is: If Firefox is not running, then NoScript is not running. Your script permissions in IE Security settings for that particular Zone (Internet, Trusted, Untrusted Restricted) determine whether scripts are allowed. NoScript would have nothing to do with this.

I did try a quick download/save of the page before, and got an error message that widget.js could not be saved. Which suits me well -- it's one thing to let Web scripts run in my browser; I certainly don't want them running on my desktop.

You're certain that you saved as "HTML Only" rather than as "Web Page, Complete"?
If that still fails, you could save as Text File, which would lose pictures, etc.

I use FF all time. But the saved page(s) open in IE8 unavoidably. (Do you know of a way to open them in a FF one ?)

So if NS has nothing to do with IE, & if opening pages is not possible in FF supposedly, then how to limit scripts in IE ?
A friend of mine who has recommended me NS in the 1st place & uses FF says he is not experiencing my issues at all. He suggests that it might be a virus & recommends a full winxp reinstal !!

And yes, Im certain to have saved as "HTML Only" & not as "Web Page, Complete". Latter means all pictures within ! I did try "Text File". But this loses everything including web presentation. & renders the page an ununderstable gibberish opening in a cladblok window, even for pages in English.

When the page do open up after some time, it opens without pictures, as I saved them in "HTML Only". So the only problem I have now is the lengthy time to open.. Till now Im trying with only ONE page, not many simultaneously..

Solution ?

Link opens fine.
Allowed qanon302.net.
Saved fine, both HTML only & also Web page complete.

Both saved pages open fine, in Mozilla.

If some of the other domains are allowed; facebook, twitter, or whatever they were, it appears that even after the page shows as Done, it does try to reload something or the other, so perhaps something odd, slow is trying to get through that is affecting you?

As a test, create a new, clean Profile.
Install only NoScript.
Then try your page again.

I have found the culprit.. I disabled the scripts in IE8. Now it works perfectly. The saved pages show instantly now whether you choose allow in NS or forbid. I checked that also.

You can put in google the question : "disable scripts in IE8", then follow the steps it gives you. Easy..
It was lying right under my nose & I didnt see it!!!

Thanks guys!
