I have been using no script with paypal for a while. recently no script was updated. since then, when I go into paypal multi order shipping the buttons are disabled. it works fine in IE or Chrome. There are several paypal sites in my whitelist. I disabled no script and everything works normally. Right now my choices are to keep another browser open just for paypal or to disable no script.

What's "Paypal multi order shipping" (URL?)?
Does it keep happening with latest development build 2.5.9rc2?
Does it happens on a clean profile with a fresh NoScript installation?

paypal multi shipping opens in a new window and I dont see a URL at the top
I removed no script then downloaded the latest version on the site. the problem appears to be fixed. I'll know for sure when I have packages to ship.

no, it still doesnt work. there is no URL on the paypal page, which pops up as a window when you select multi shipping.

That's because 'paypal.com' is already on your whitelist.

Please also notice that if you right-click on the page, a NoScript submenu where you can allow any script source there appears in the contextual menu.

I right clicked and no script only has the choice to forbid it since it has already been allowed. So why wont it work unless I disable no script, which means rebooting firefox or I use chrome?

Does your Tools>Error Console display any possibly related message when this happens?

There is no menu on the multi shipping screen. It's in a plain window. I cant seem to find error console under tools on the original screen.

Tools > Web Developer > Error Console

error console did not show any errors but while poking around, I found a workaround. even though the drop-downs don't work, if I highlight a record and click edit, it opens yet another window for that record where the drop-downs will work. so I can continue to use no script and not need another browser.

Can you fix the URL that you provided earlier? Long URLs get truncated, so please use url tags, like so:

under firefox the window shows up with no url showing. under chrome I see the url above. under firefox if I click any of the drop down choices, nothing happens but if I highlight a record and hit edit, another window opens up and I can select the choices.
