Hi everyone, I am a Google Sites user. I have, obviously, a site there. I am facing a strange problem: when I try to add a gadeget to any of my pages, Firefox hangs, with 100% CPU. I am nearly sure that NoScript is interfering, because I followed the standard Firefox's troubleshooting procedure and, disabling extensions one by one, allowed me to find where the problem is: when I disable NoScript, it works like a charm. I also tested it with IE with no problems at all.
Thanks!

Re: Firefox 100% CPU on Google Sites
I have noticed Fx in general being a memory and cpu hog for a while now and I find it shameful that the "best" browser is now no better in many ways than crap like IE. I notice alot of overhead issues too and was actually going to bring it up but never noticed it with any particular site before, just in general.

Thanks for the reply.
According to my experience, Firefox runs fine. If I disable NoScript extensions, that part of Google Sites works, but with NoScript ext. enabled, Firefox hangs. It seems rather a NoScript problem than a Firefox one, at least in this case.

Interesting because I have not noticed any performance or overhead issues with NS but then again each person's situation is unique. I will let Giorgio take a lead on this as the developer and see if he can figure out what is going on. Have you tried the latest dev build of NS to see if it resolves your issue?

Re: Firefox 100% CPU on Google Sites
Does it happen with a specific gadget or any gadget?
Is there any chance for me to reproduce your issue?
Thanks.

Hi, (I am Italian too).
Firefox hangs exactly when I try to add a new gadget, using the Insert menu (Insert -> Other...). It's not a gadget in particular.
Thanks
