Scripts Globally Allowed keeps getting checked

I uncheck "scripts globally allowed" in the options and in a few hours or days, it is checked and allows "everything". I'm using Firefox. Any ideas?

If you're sure that you're not accidentally clicking on it, then maybe your
profile is corrupt. Can you try making a new one and seeing whether the problem persists?

Do you mean change my FireFox profile?

Yes. Please see the link that I posted. If the problem persists in the new profile, we can look into it further; if not, then the old profile is likely damaged, and you'll need to migrate your data to the new one.
The reason that I say this is because the behaviour you're describing isn't normal, and certainly the support team here aren't experiencing it, so it sounds like something is wrong on your machine.

To clarify, don't touch the existing profile. Create a brand new one from scratch (alongside the existing one), using the directions at Thrawn's link, "
profile".
Install *only* NoScript into that, and see if the problem persists. If it does not, then not only profile corruption, but also extension conflicts become possible suspects.
If the problem persists on the "clean" profile, there may be malware in the machine that is changing settings. Such things love to turn off anti-virus, firewall, etc.
