Links disabled on web site

This seems to happen after an upgrade, but to be real, I don't know if it's NoScript or not:

On http://www.slate.com/index.html?reload=true , some of the links no longer work, e.g.:

The illustration at the left middle of the home page, should rotate among the numbers in its caption below the illustration, when each one is clicked, but they no longer do;

The illustration to its right has three options below it, and they should be links, but they are no longer "live", in that they don't show a little hand when hovering over them, and clicking on them does not give results.

Some others are also no longer available. Is there a way to prevent this?

Thanks.

You need both slate.com and googleapis.com to be allowed for that stuff to work (it does for me).

Thanks for the reply. That worked just fine for me.

I must say, though, that when I get into a mess like this one, I have no idea how to get out. Am I missing something obvious that I SHOULD know?

Sometimes it's just trial and error. However, a lot of sites make use of googleapis.com, so that is one that you could try temporarily allowing when things don't work.
