[issues?] Suddenly all google search result contain prefix
Re: [issues?] Suddenly all google search result contain pref
Hallo, slack here again!
First of all, the surrogate works very well now (2.3.2), but in its current form it matches only the "http" "URI scheme" variants.
It happens that my search results contain links to "ftp" URIs which are not replaced.
I suggest to just remove any URI restriction by changing the pattern of "a.href.replace()":
/.*\/url.*[?&](?:url|q)=(http[^&]+).*/ --> /.*\/url.*[?&](?:url|q)=([^&]+).*/
TIA Slack
FYI, here is the list of all registered URI schemes:

Hi Giorgio,
I've just noticed that the surrogate script for Google search results is broken again. Every link has the Google redirect again.
Noscript 2.4.6
eg Google search results for NoScript give the following link.

It seems to be still working for me.
Are you sure it's not just what you can see by hovering it the first time?
Could you check in the Web Console (ctrl+shift+K) how does the actual URL which gets opened look like?

Same machine, different location but same ISP...... same problem.
Search on "NoScript" all result links get a 302 redirect via Google like this. This is the actual url of the pages it takes me to.
http://www.google.co.uk/url?q=http://no ... W55mL4_69Q
http://www.google.co.uk/url?q=http://no ... bDkXLj1rKA
http://www.google.co.uk/url?q=https://a ... oxxwuusEiQ
Web Console (ctrl+shift+K) <-- Sorry, I don't quite follow this bit.

Seems a Firefox/3.6.28 regression / problem.

Re: [issues?] Suddenly all google search result contain pref
Wrong, see below.I don't see where Google is prefacing anything to the URLs, regardless of NoScript or not, when running FF 3.6.28.
That is not available on FF 3.6.28.Web Console (ctrl+shift+K) <-- Sorry, I don't quite follow this bit.

Re: [issues?] Suddenly all google search result contain pref
I've had issues with it before when it seem to work fine for others. I don't allow Google to run ANY scripts normally except when I absolutely have to. Every search result producing a 302 re-direct every time. It's not possible to not notice when it happens.
Is there any other useful information I can provide for diagnostics?
Thanks.

Re: [issues?] Suddenly all google search result contain pref
So what, this (http://www.google.com/url?q=) only happens if google.com is not Allowed, so is only affecting NoScript users (generally)?

Confirmed.Seems a Firefox/3.6.28 regression / problem.
Worked, noscript-2.4.4rc2.xpi.
And by the time we reached noscript-2.4.5rc7.xpi it was broken.
(This is with FF 3.6.28.)

Re: [issues?] Suddenly all google search result contain pref
Any change of a link back to the older rc that you confirmed works aboveE? I have a reason to keep one machine on FF3.
Thanks,
