Sorry, Giorgio. By the time I worded my msg and sent it off, you had provided the solution. I removed "netflix.com from the noscript.default list, and now the site responds correctly. Thanks for taking the time for this.Giorgio Maone wrote: Alternatively, since I'm unable to reproduce this issue, I'd appreciate you to rather remove msn.com from the noscript.default about:config preference and restart the browser, instead.

Re: Links on MSN.COM no longer work
Seems fixed. Whether it was adding .msn.com to Options/Advanced/HTTPS/Behavior in the Never Force box or today's release of 2.9.0.8rc1 all MSN links are now opening. Thanks.

Re: [FIXED] Links on MSN.COM no longer work
On a related note I used the forum's search to see if there were any related threads and found nothing, only to discover after posting my thread that others were having the same issue. So you guys might want to have a look at the forum search, thx.

Re: [FIXED] Links on MSN.COM no longer work
I'm thinking the problem is that 3-letter "words" are silently ignored. For example, this search really shouldn't give zero results: search.php?keywords=msn.com&terms=all&sr=posts
I guess the workaround is to use your favorite search engine and add site:forums.informaction.com to your query.
EDIT I've posted viewtopic.php?f=14&t=21752 on the search issue.

Re: Links on MSN.COM no longer work
This problem with netflix is still present in NoScript 2.9.0.11. Adding ".netflix.com" to the "Never force secure (HTTPS) connections ..." list fixes it.Tsami wrote:Today's release of 2.9.0.9rc1 seems to have fixed the msn.com problem - glad for that, and thanks!
There is another seemingly related problem that occurs with the DVD section of Netflix at https://dvd.netflix.com. When I input the first few letters of a DVD search and press Enter without choosing from the drop-down list of titles, I get a page saying, "The page isn't redirecting properly - Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete." If I select one of the listed titles, the new page displays correctly.
Just as with the msn.com, this began with Version 2.9.0.5rc1, but has continued through 2.9.0.9rc1. And, just as with msn.com, if I disable NoScript, the Netflix DVD site works correctly by displaying a list of titles that most closely resemble the search string that I enter. No problems with Version 2.9.0.4 either.

With this still ongoing, maybe Giorgio will want to remove netflix related sites from the default whitelist until they properly support HTTPS?
