Not to split hairs over semantics, but I believe what FH meant by "casual" was "average, non-tech-involved".
And then you casually* come in and stomp on my attempt at light humour?
cheers and beers, dear :-) You're priceless.
It's *you* who are priceless, my dear. Do you have any idea what I was doing all last night, until well after daylight this morning? And why perhaps the usual well-honed sense of humor was a bit blunted? ... and by the way, where were you when I was single-handedly trying to respond to the entire NS/ABP/Slashdot community? It was daytime in your stomping grounds... :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D (your turn to take it humourously, dear!) :D :D

And yes, you are right, beyond all argument... I am indeed priceless. Props for being so percipient in that regard.

Where was I?
Doing what a clever person does when there's a bushfire.
Keeping well clear and letting it burn itself out.
Stomping just spreads cinders, didn't you know?
Hosing down only needed if you're getting burnt yourself.

Not that I'd call this pile-on of fanbois anything more than a brushfire.
It's the internet, lovely. Not real life. :-) I write my piece once and move on.

Except in this old threadbare thread where you keep calling me back to answer ;-)

PS, like my jaunty new gear? I ditched the old PPC eMac when Fx2.0 wouldn't allow me to tweak https forcing on a couple of secure logins. I miss the old OS X, but am enjoying the linux desktop challenge. Boy are these permissions a real pita

I invested some serious time in this thread and didn't want my point buried in changing emphases, for one thing.
Secondly I was taught to be polite and respond to invitations to chat.

Would you like the last word? *L* hmmm?
