Hi, there.
I just upgraded from FF3 where I had Flashgot issues, too. The Media feature was greyed out. Well, I dl an earlier version of Flashgot and it worked with FF3. But now I'm on FF7 and both the latest extension, the old one that worked with FF3 and the development build don't work on it. The Media option is greyed out.
Anyone know how to fix, by any chance?

Hey, friends
Flashgot v .1.3.3 works with Fiferfox 7.0.1
I uninstalled the old version and downloaded the latest version, directly from flashgot.net

Hello!
I am under Windows XP SP3 with SeaMonkey v 2.4.1 and tried to use FlashGot v 1.3.4 for accessing the video on this link:
http://host.comsoc.org/freetutorial/lin ... ve302.html
I can provide a snapshot of the window with pulldown menus showing that FlashGot media is greyed though the video IS playing.
The page has an embedded .swf player (
http://host.comsoc.org/freetutorial/lin ... -3.2.7.swf) that calls for data that cannot easily be collected to an URL but the URLSnuffer2 allowed me to find out where it was fetching the data beyond this and with what protocol: rtmp://cp87553.edgefcs.net/ondemand/fvideo/GLO09
Any possible help?
TIA.

They are using RTMP, & FlashGot cannot see RTMP.
Search the board here for "RTMP" for possible workarounds.
(Net Transport looks to be able to capture it. Audio only it appears to be in this case.)
Code: Select all
