I have a status Bar addon ( Status-4-Evar, recommended addon ) and I have an active addon bar.

If you will note, I was using Fx 3.6.28, the highest version that the "Organize Status Bar" add-on supports, mostly because they removed the Firefox-default status bar in Fx 4+.

So yes, it works fine for me.

"Add-on bar" behaves very differently from Status Bar. IMHO, it was a mistake of MZ to remove the Status Bar -- one of a zillion changes I didn't like about F4+.
But they didn't ask my opinion before removing it.

(I complained about some changes from F2 to F3, and the reply was pretty much, "We've already made up our minds, you dinosaur, so suck it up". -- not in exactly those words, but with exactly that same sentiment -- and snideness.)

The link you posted was to a commercial music product that had nothing to do with Firefox. If you have a legitimate link to the customization tool, we'll pretend the other was a mistaken auto-complete or something. Otherwise, posts will be deleted as spam, and user/IP permanently banned. Edit: Found another guest post with the same thing -- a spam link in the middle of an otherwise legitimate-looking post. Deleted.
