The malfunction I
reported a while ago has returned.
The last functioning version is 1.9.5.

Notice you must start Seamonkey with sudo when you install NoScript and on first restartar after installing it.

The answer to your question is yes. I make a point of installing NoScript as root since the regular user has insufficient permissions to perform the install.
Whenever I have to upgrade/downgrade, I use GKSu to start Seamonkey.

I have Adblock Plus and NoScript installed; the latter is installed system-wide as root.

OK, if you've got only NoScript and Ablock Plus, could you try
http://kb.mozillazine.org/Transferring_ ... ew_profile and then reinstalling both?

I know it has been about five months since I last raised this issue, but the result is still the same. I just finished a fresh install of the entire system, and the only information I carried over was my bookmarks.
Any ideas on what else could be the matter. I have avoided upgrading this extension because every version I have tried since 1.9.5 has yielded the same result.
