it doesnt work! when i click on 'show log' in the address you wrote, a FF new page will be opened who tells this message! "File not found
Firefox can't find the file at /C:/Documents and Settings/Administrator/Application Data/Mozilla/Firefox/Profiles/6ys6pnmv.default/flashgot.log." i am really confused! for more certainty, i uninstalled flash-got add-on and reinstalled it! i thought maybe it would be effective but it didn't work!

If it does, maybe your current profile is corrupted, and you may need http://kb.mozillazine.org/Transferring_ ... ew_profile
Good luck!
clicking on the first link had no use! just gave me a disappointing answer: "Server not found
Firefox can't find the server at kb..org." but the second link brought me to a page who had 3 choices and this title "Transferring data to a new profile". now what should i do with this? should i click on the first one Giorgio? you know, i thought it had better to ask you first as a professional before doing a job who i have no ideas about aftereffects on FF! thanks again buddy and good luck too

Sorry, looks like the GreaseMonkey script which autolinks some keywords in my posts was broken.
However yes, because trying the transfer procedure you should check whether a clean profile (correct link now) with just FlashGot installed works as expected for you.

That article explains how to create a clean profile and switch from and back to your original one for testing purposes (in order to check whether yours is corrupted).
