Almost...now I get the Select a Photo screen, but it just keeps showing
waiting for 127.0.0.1:...
and seems to keep trying until the screen times out
if I temporarily allow, the Select screen goes away...

Was able to get photo uploader to work properly on IE, but still unable to do so on Firefox.
Thank you for your help.

Could you also try to add 127.0.0.1:0 to your whitelist?

My whitelist options are Import, Export, Reset, OK, Cancel. Just inserting 127.0.0.1:0 into the address bar does not light up the Allow button...

Sorry, my fault: it should be
http://127.0.0.1:0 (notice the leading http://)

That didn't do it. It still seems to be trying to connect until it times out. Possibly...should there be a * instead of a 0 at the end of that Allow code?

No, the correct whitelist syntax for a wildcard port number is 0.
Are you getting any suspect message (either error, red, or "message", blue, no yellow warning) in Tools|Error Console?
Where can I install this plugin from for testing?

Times out here too.
I have checked the error console. I get plenty of "Warnings"
Warning: Unknown property 'text-overflow'. Declaration dropped.

On the facebook page i get this SSL read: error:00000000:lib(0):func(0):reason(0), errno 10053

Warnings are the only kind of message which has no meaning here. Could you filter them out and check what's left (errors+messages)?

This may mean that the plugin is unable to correctly negotiate a secure connection.
Does this problem actually go away if you disable NoScript?
And
where can I download the plugin from?

I was asked to install it when i tried to upload some new pictures to one of my albums on Facebook.
Facebook Plugin version 1.0.3.0
And yes. It works fine with No Script disabled.

I don't get any warnings. Simply the uploader trying again and again to connect until it times out.

I've installed it and I'm checking. Stay tuned.

OK, I managed to make it work after adding
127.0.0.1 (no protocol, no port) to my whitelist.
Of course, the ABE rule exception is still needed. Updated the
FAQ entry to reflect this finding.
