Seems like the best I can do is just to start all over again from a clean profile.
How can I import most of my prefs?, copying prefs.js + firefox sync would do the trick? Some other thing to do?.
I mainly want to keep my personal settings + addon settings the rest can be deleted.

I don't think so somehow... you said that importing your NoScript config alone (using NoScript's own export/import feature) into the new profile is enough to do it.

Given that you use Firefox Sync I have the feeling this would actually be somewhat dangerous. This article might help you...

You're right about Firefox sync, but I don't necessarily want to sync all from there, I mean, I've also started with a clean profile, copied prefs.js, installed noscript and it have worked fine.
So there's something in one of my files that is causing this.

See http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic ... #p14084501 for a dangerous but effective way you can go about finding out which file it is. Don't do this without a backup of your profile, and preferably do it in an exact duplicate of your profile (completely shut down Firefox then copy the entire contents of your profile into the new profile). Oh, and be sure to back up your profile before trying that procedure.

Moved the unrelated post to the other thread where it could actually help someone.
(@spastorino too) This sort of unintended thread hijacking has happened repeatedly. I'll edit something into the OP to indicate that this topic is NOT about Trusteer Rapport so that people don't keep cluttering this thread with unrelated issues. Should I also change the topic title to something less generic, if so any suggestions that will fit in the 60-character limit?

The issue is in prefs.js as we could have guessed. I followed the process you mentioned and also started with a fresh profile, copied my prefs.js and just installed noscript and I'm reproducing the issue.
Will try to see what's in prefs.js that may be conflicting.

Talked with spastorino on irc, we did some digging around in similar Firefox crash reports, looks like this is a Mac OS X 10.10 specific crash and it's not necessarily caused by NoScript. NoScript is not listed in extensions of other crash reports of the same issue. Probably a Firefox bug rather than a NoScript bug...
