Actually I think 2.6.8.37rc2 was released before Giorgio saw this thread.
I doubt he forgot so soon. It's not a minor change required to fix this (at least in the way I suggested).

If I PM Giorgio now, it's probably just a waste of everyone's time, time which would be better spent actually writing the patch so that it gets released quicker.
As I said I will PM him in a couple weeks or so if nothing happens.
If you really feel it's that urgent, and not just going to waste people's time, you could, of course, register here and send Giorgio a PM yourself

@Giorgio: I've written a fix for the Ctrl+Z issue, applied on top of 2.6.8.39rc1 (just implementing what I suggested, pending another day or so of testing on my end atm). As a consequence, I also fixed a much more significant bug I ran into in the Options-Advanced-ABE panel which could potentially (did) cause the entire ruleset editing interface to disappear
I'll PM you the diff once I'm more sure I've removed all my goofy only-debugging-related code and got something that works.

@Guest: Even if I do PM Giorgio with the fix tomorrow (which I probably will), seems he's really busy atm as he hasn't answered my prior PM (sent 2 days ago) yet, so I've no idea how much time I've saved him by writing a patch or if he's going to be able to get to this any faster as a result... (He would still have to review the code I send him, apply it, tweak it to his liking if needed, and test it himself.)

Fixed.
Latest dev build also seems to have fixed #1 and #2 from viewtopic.php?f=7&t=19971#p71248 (at least on OS X).
