With the new update (v 1.5.5.94rc1) the problem persist... flashgot can't see 1080p mp4/webm videos... only 720p and 720p 3D... :/

Using Firefox 24 on Win 7 SP1...

Confirmed as solved with 1.5.5.94rc1 on FF 24.0

Are you watching a newly-uploaded video? I noticed I only got 720p options for 1080p videos that were under an hour old, but they soon gained a 1080p option afterwards.

In Fx 17.0.10ESR, there's no media icon at all.

No.
So looks like FlashGot Media is totally busted in 17esr.

FlashGot Media does display with flashgot-1.5.5.9rc2.xpi (which was the last version before the general FlashGot Media Icon went missing issue started). [But then 1559rc2 wasn't detecting 1080's.]

flashgot-1.5.5.93rc2.xpi, shows both the Media Icon & context-menu.
So FF17 breakage was between 93rc2 & 94rc1.

(Were you not using the latest #dev before posting/removing the "not detecting" thread .)

If someone could post a URL or two to these 1080's.

Since Giorgio's patch is a patch for regression <FF24 , I presume it should work for FF24 and 94rc1. I tried clicking on the link atleast on 4 occasions and never found the 1080 version lissted in the FG right click. When I tried the second time today it was there. I also find a discussion that 1080 adds itself after a delay. But on my second attempt today it was found listed. Obviously something is happening.....

There's still some 1080p videos that it can't detect. And it's MP4 1080p that I'm talking about. Like these videos...

It can detect them, but you'll have to mux them after downloading, since they're separate video and audio tracks, as in there's a 1080p mp4 video-only stream and N audio-only streams with different bitrates.
