Hi Georgio thanks for the quick response.

I tried Standard Diagnostic and there doesn't seemto be any extention conflict. The only other extensons are .Net Framework 1.0 and FireFTP.

Download Manager is the default JDownloader.

Still can't get Flashgot to download - It is detecting that there is a video on the web page but I have no way of downloading it.

If you revert to an earlier version of FlashGot, does functionality return?

No... but I was wondering if it is working for you couldn't I just copy the Mozilla folder in your program files? If so could you upload to a website and send it to me? ive downgraded Flashgot and Firefox nothing seems to be working

Maybe I guessed what's happening for some of you: the download manager is defaulting to JDownloader (which is not present), while it should be "(Built In)" when no other download manager is present.
Please switch it to "(Built In)" in the menu or install a good download manager, such as "Orbit Downloader" and select it.

For those whose problem is different (menu not appearing at all), can you see any FlashGot-related error message in Tools|Error Console?

No, I wanted you to look for FlashGot.

Notice also that you'll probably see nothing in Error Console until you set the javascript.options.showInConsole about:config preference to true.

However I encourage everybody in this thread to try the 1.1.9.5 dev build, which fixes some issues maybe related, and let me know.

Same problem here with 1.1.9.5 dev build, no right click menu.
Can I do do something to help find the cause ?

I deleted extensions.ini , extensions.cache and extensions.rdf and it not resolved the problem.

I can't see any error related to Flashgot after I set the javascript.options.showInConsole about:config preference to true.
Also I've installed v1.1.9.5 and still the Right-Click menu is missing.

Anything else I can do for help?

What does the flashgot.version about:config entry look like after installing 1.1.9.5?
Is the FlashGot entry shown in Tools|Add-ons|Extensions? If so, does the Options button there work?

Also, does anybody here use an application called Sothink Web Video Downloader?
I've got one report of a similar conflict.

(Well at the least the JDownloader selection is now gone, so in that respect it is a good addition <deletion>.)

Confirmed.

Sothink Web Video Downloader for Firefox causes the FlashGot right-click context menu to disappear in FlashGot 1.1.9.5.
(Tools | FlashGot menu item does still work.)

(I did not actually run Setup.exe, but rather simply extracted web-video-downloader.xpi from within setup & loaded that xpi into FF3.)

FlashGot 1.1.9 works.
FlashGot 1.1.9.1 (& I'll assume all later versions too are) broken.

(BTW, shouldn't a Standard diagnostic have found that.)

Disable Sothink & the context menu reappears.

(Sothink cannnot capture RTMP, it appears.)
