Oh, I gather this is different, but I'll throw it here anyway...

I've been using Flashgot for ages and love it, I also have the script that was posted a few posts above but I'm still unable to download a lot of Youtube vids.
In particular I'm trying to download UFC fights like these.

What makes these vids undetectable by Flashgot & the script?

Unfortunately these videos use a proprietary Flash-based streaming technique which completely bypasses the browser (and therefore is invisible to any in-browser script/add-on).
In facts, no HTML 5 alternate format is available.

(I don't think ANY Youtube video are seen by FlashGot at this time?)

Ok, I understand, thank you very much Giorgio for your reply & the information, I'd also like to thank you personally for Flashgot, I really appreciate it.
@therube
That's not my experience, Flashgot 1.5.5.5 works perfectly for me on the vast majority of videos I want to download. In fact, UFC videos, like the examples I posted above, are the first ones I've come across that I couldn't download.
Anyway, thanks again Giorgio

I don't see FlashGot doing anything with the UFC clips.
The OP's link, Ask In A Box, is working.
Guests "vevo" link is working.
(I didn't try any downloads, just seeing that FlashGot Media displays & shows expected data.)

That should be good enough for now.
Thanks, Giorgio!
