On the "proxy" URLs looks like there is first a GET with a 200 video/x-flv, followed by a HEAD that returns 403 Forebidden, if that means anything.
(On a
http://vid2.ec.dmcdn.net/ URL, the HEAD returns 200.)

The problem is basically that some subdomains support non-fragmented downloads, while other ones return "403 Forbidden".
As a work-around, I'm switching to a "known-good" host as soon as a 403 status code is returned.
Let's see how it works in
latest development build 1.5.5.2rc1, thanks.

Tried using Flashgot on both links. "Flashgot Media" is in bold but doesn't have " (1)" which always
appear when it detects the video file and upon clicking on it, a pop-up window will ask where you want to
save the file. Have not seen it again since Flashgot gave problems few days ago. No proxy found in the URL link.

Not sure what's wrong but I am using another download software till Flashgot problem is solved.
Upgraded to ver1.5.5.1 but still doesn't work. Using Firefox 19.0.2

Did you read the posts above? You need a
1.5.5.2 release candidate.

No, not seen. But then there are likely a lot of sites that are not seen.
Likely different circumstance then dailymotion though?

Hi, thanks very much. Dailymotion is working fine again but not on youtube though.
Tried on this link, when I right click, it shows "Flashgot Media (10)" when it should show " (1)" only.
