Please use sentence case. If you need to emphasise something, use bold or italics; there's no need to shout.Guest wrote:I APOLOGIZE TO EVERYBODY FOR THIS 100 PAGE LONG POST!
I don't see how you plan to go beyond Tor in terms of anonymity. Do you understand Tor?even take it beyond tor,or tor project!
A server within the browser is no use for this, because the point of the external server is to have a different IP address. Unless your ISP has issued you with two addresses, running a server will make no difference.
Er...'hosts' is a file, not a process. What do you mean by 'hosts could read...'?Guest wrote: if Giorgio wrote that software patch for hosts.
then,only hosts(NOT THE OS) could read (* and +) .
The DNS service in the operating system reads the hosts file and interprets it. Giorgio was perfectly correct to say that he would have to patch or replace the DNS subsystem for every supported operating system, and I quite agree that he shouldn't take the time to do it.
ABP will block (prevent download of) elements that are imported into the page. If they're actually part of the page, then they get hidden, which is as much as any addon could do. What more do you want?Guest wrote: abp Element Hiding Helper.(i know about it)
sigh,abp again.
it only hides the problems.it does not block them.
Yes. Lots of things are more frustrating. I find printing PDF documents to be generally fast, painless, and predictable.Guest wrote: 4.)PDF Viewer, that's the one i was thinking of.(i just didn't want to say the name.)
i had used it before on other people's pcs,& it's not bad.
however,i seriously can not stand PDFs!!!
i believe they are the tools of the devil that are meant to torture us!!!
have you ever dealt with anything more frustrating than printing out a pdf form,& sending it!?
I do, however, recommend that you dump Adobe Acrobat Reader.
Happy holidays!
@Tom: Shall I move this to NS Development?
