I have seen ccleaner used but I still personally prefer Spybot S&D, it has the most efficient model. I know some like Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and its ok but I find it to drag a big and it keeps pushing you to register and get pro version, I don't like naggers who provide free software with strings attached. Whatever works for you though, good luck.
