Hidden scripts or what?
Hidden scripts or what?
Hey everyone. I have noticed an issue with NoScript and I can't figure it out. Sometimes when I am on a website, the NoScript icon in my toolbar will show that a script has been blocked but when I go to unblock the script it's not listed in the menu and so I can't unblock it. I have no idea what's going on here.
Anyway, I'm using the latest version of Mozilla Firefox which is 66.0.2 64 bit. I am using the following extensions:
Grammarly for Firefox
HTTPS Everywhere
LastPass: Free Password Manager
NoScript (obviously)
Share Backported
uBlock Origin
Wikipedia Context Menu Search
YouGov Pulse
In addition, I'm running Windows 10 on my computer.

How have you configured your Trusted preset? (NoScript Options > General > Trusted tab)

Re: Hidden scripts or what?
No, it's on the default settings. I have no idea how to configure that.

Re: Hidden scripts or what?
Do you have uBlock Origin configured to block CSP reports? If so, have you added an exception for NoScript's internal CSP reports?
uBlock Origin Dashboard > My Rules, add -
uBlock Origin Dashboard > My Rules, add -
Code: Select all
no-csp-reports: noscript-csp.invalid false

Re: Hidden scripts or what?
I'm not sure how to do that. When I go to the My Rules thing under my Dashboard, it doesn't seem to have a place where you can add a rule.

You can type in the Temporary rules side. Just paste that in a new line, then click Save to apply it, and click Commit to add the line to your permanent rules.

Re: Hidden scripts or what?
Okay. Thank you. I just did that and I am still getting what appears to be a hidden script as described in my original post. I made sure to restart my browser after I changed the settings in Ublock Origin too.

I should also note that I am now using Mozilla Firefox 66.0.3 (64-bit) which is the latest version of Firefox.

Could you please post the link to one of the sites where you see this? (assuming it doesn't require login to see the problem)

Sorry. I forgot to add. I don't know if you have to log in to duplicate it or not.
