Embedded Youtube video not showing until site is set to trusted

Post by michkov »

The new update made it so that where ever I come across and embedded youtube video Firefox will display a blank black frame instead of the usual video. It is not until I set the site the video is embedded in to trusted until the video shows up, despite youtube being a trusted site and working as it should on it's own.

Is there a way to get the pre update way back where videos are displayed despite the main site not being trusted?

This looks related - https://trac.torproject.org/projects/to ... comment:10

restrictSubdocScripting needs to be an option, as it was in NoScript Classic.
*Always* check the changelogs BEFORE updating that important software!

That is the exact issue I'm having. Good to see it's not only me and it's being worked on or at least thought about. Thanks
