My NoScript shows on many sites Facebook.com which I have set untrusted.
Although I am not in Facebook myself I am interested to know if
NoScript is making "Facebook Container" unnecessary? I hope to be able to advise my friends and
relatives accordingly.

Re: NoScript and Facebook
Moving to NoScript General.
I would say no. The two addons seem to have very different functionality.Bencyc wrote:NoScript is making "Facebook Container" unnecessary?
*Always* check the changelogs BEFORE updating that important software!

That s pity. I do not like adding too many add-ons on my Firefox.
There is a good development project to do something to NoScript !

Re: NoScript and Facebook
The thread is old, but maybe you are going to read it: it isn't necessary to install an add-on to activate the functionality of containers. As being described here it is sufficient to set some options in about:config as follows:Bencyc wrote:I do not like adding too many add-ons on my Firefox.
Code: Select all
privacy.userContext.enabled=true
privacy.userContext.ui.enabled=true
privacy.userContext.longPressBehavior=2
