I've isolated an issue on Firefox (latest) to noscript. When the plugin is disabled, the page functions fine. When the plugin is active it prevents downloads of the content linked. If I disabled restrictions globally, it works. But permitting all of the displayed sites does not work.

Re: Issue with QNAP firmware download page
No issue here either. File downloads fine.
NoScript 10.1.8.9rc3
Firefox 60.0.2 (I hope you're using the latest 60 ESR, which at the time of writing is version 60.1.0. I just didn't happen to have it on hand.)
Set qnap.com to TRUSTED
First make sure you're using NoScript latest development build. If it still doesn't work, what are your settings for the TRUSTED preset?

Re: Issue with QNAP firmware download page
I have FF 61.0.1 and the NoScript 10.1.8.8 on Ubuntu 16.04. (all very much supported and functional until this latest attempt to download - previous successful attempt was May 31)
I have accepted all displayed URLs and it gives an error when downloading the file at https://us1.qnap.com/Storage/TS-X51/TS- ... 4.0644.zip
which you can test by clicking the first USA download link.
Error:
“<filename> could not be saved, because the source file could not be read. Try again later, or contact the server administrator.”
In the dialog box for the download file, the url indicates https://us1.qnap.com
I'm unable to add an explicit rule for that full domain and protocol including HTTPS in NoScript. It will only let me add it without the protocol, which implies HTTP.
If I disable NoScript, the download works fine. No other plugin affects this behavior. No other plugin munges with requests.

Re: Issue with QNAP firmware download page
As therube and barbaz said, this known issue is fixed in latest development build (currently 10.1.8.9rc4).scottyp wrote:I have FF 61.0.1 and the NoScript 10.1.8.8 on Ubuntu 16.04.
Either upgrade or wait for 10.1.8.9 to be relased in the stable channel.
