I am pulling my hair out trying to find how to display notifications as a popup like it used to work in previous versions of Firefox (like 52 ESR). I had zen with this addon but now, I am never notified that scripts were blocked unless I actually look at the menu bar.
In previous versions, I had a yellow bar that popped up and basically notified me that scripts were being blocked. I could customize it to display for a predetermined amount of time, etc. So whenever I went to a page with scripts that were being blocked, it was easy to know, and I could correct it easily. Now, however, I just have a single icon in the menu bar. If a page isn't loading right, I'm like "what's going on?". Then, I look up at the menu bar and sure enough scripts are being blocked. Once I realize that, I can navigate through NoScript. However, it's slowing me down because every time I load a page, the Menu Bar is NOT the first place I look.
I've gone to the options screen and cannot find options similar to previous versions.
SO... is there a way to customize this version of NoScript to display a notification to alert me that scripts are being blocked? (whispers: please say yes)

Re: Where in the Thunder is the Notifications Bar?
AFAIK the only way to get a notification bar in WebExtensions is to inject it into the webpage, which is inherently insecure. So I wouldn't expect that to come back.

Re: Where in the Thunder is the Notifications Bar?
Thanks ever so much for the reply, but just to be clear, you're saying this is no longer a feature of NoScript - is that correct?
Further to clarify, the only way to know that scripts have been blocked is via the NoScript Icon in the toolbar - Right?
I'm just being anal so that I know that I have a habit to change AND that you are sure that you knew it being in previous versions.
