I use Pale Moon 27.6.1 64-bit, DownloadStudio 10.0.3.0 (from Conceiva), and FlashGot 1.5.6.14 (probably the most recent version compatible with PM). When I have FlashGot set to download media using DownloadStudio and try to download YouTube videos, DownloadStudio commonly gets confused and downloads videoplayback instead of the video. Do you know of an issue that might be causing this?
Below is the string I used to tell DownloadStudio what to do. Is something wrong here?
I also tested the issue with Basilisk (another Firefox fork) and the same FlashGot version. Again, the file lacked an audio track. Could YouTube have changed things so the audio and video are in diffferent URL streams?
Youtube changes constantly.
FlashGot has not been updated in (relatively) ages.
Presumably FlashGot is to be updated.
If so, whether that includes XUL browsers (SeaMonkey, PM) or only webextensions remains to be seen.
(Actually I suppose updates for XUL could be relatively minor, only needing current code to handle YT?)

I do not use DownloadStudio, but a different downloader that is compatible with Flashgot. I would think this is the same issue. What appears to be happening, is Flashgot is offering the video file and audio file separately. If just the video file is downloaded, then there is no audio. Further, Flashgot is not offering the different formats/qualities of the video. A few weeks ago, it was offering the videos with the audio merged in the same file, and all the available formats, just as it has always done. I would think maybe Youtube changed something (?). I found an addon called Easy Youtube Video Downloader Express, which does everything that Flashgot previously did, except transfer the download to the downloader, but an extra step with the Flashgot context menu will do so. However, I prefer and suggest, and likely you all do too, that Flashgot would be fixed so we do not have to install and use these extra steps with addons for addons.
