NoScript Ad Blocking Question

Post by Soda »

Unfortunately one of my favorite channels on youtube has begun pulling all their content from there & making it exclusive only to their website. Now viewers can only watch if they allow ads or pay, neither of which I'm prepared to do. The website is managing to detect my uBlock extension but I know that NoScript can block ads too. So I'm wondering, is there a way I can block the ads with NoScript but fool the website into thinking they're allowed?

Moving to NoScript General.

NoScript is not an ad blocker. It's not equipped to avoid anti-adblock detection.

*Always* check the changelogs BEFORE updating that important software!
