no auto update?
no auto update?
Firefox updated this morning. Restarted. But NoScript did not update itself. Usually it automagically checks for updates on Firefox start/restart and updates itself. As I was running an earlier version, it should have updated itself, no? Manually updated, but thought you should know, if that wasn't your intent.

Re: no auto update?
This issue occurs when you install a release candidate / beta version. You will only get release candidate / beta updates, at least this is how it works in theory. If it doesn't update at all while you are on release candidate / beta channel then this is indeed a NoScript issue. I performed too many update channel switches to tell if there is a problem with NoScript beta update mechanism. Switching from release candidate / beta to release or vice versa requires a manual installation. You shouldn't have to do this but Mozilla hasn't figured out a way to make Firefox smart enough to handle extensions update channel switching seamlessly. Mozilla instead opted into nuking the AMO beta channel. Of course this does nothing to help with the underlying issue.

^ This. NoScript beta channel is moved to secure.informaction.com. The manual install was needed to get you on the "new" beta channel. Next update should work for you.
