I recently created a filter(?) to block imbedded youtube videos. The way I accomplished this was to right click in the video and from the NoScript submenu there was an option to add a filter. Now I would like to remove or disable this filter but I have not been able to locate the specific filter anywhere. I have looked in about:config, searched my prefs.js, everywhere I can think of and no luck. The filter dialog NoScript presented me had several possible filter options presented with one preselected and that was the one I used. I am sure it had the string "youtube.com/embed" in it but I cannot find that string anywhere I search. Can someone tell me where NoScript keeps rules or filters so I can go find this particular one and remove it?
Thanks.

Are you sure this is NoScript?Hap wrote:I recently created a filter(?) to block imbedded youtube videos. Assuming you're using NoScript Classic, it stores all its data in prefs.jsHap wrote:Can someone tell me where NoScript keeps rules or filters

This was definitely NoScript.
If everything is kept in prefs.js are all of the settings prefixed with noscript.* or are there noscript settings which have different names?

NoScript doesn't have a right-click filter dialog that would pre-select an option to block something you've already allowed. Certainly not by path.
I'm not trying to be condescending or anything, but what you're describing sounds like Adblock Latitude, not NoScript.
As a test, does disabling NoScript (Tools > Add-ons Manager > NoScript > Disable > Yes, remove ALL protections) get embedded Youtube working again?
Most are prefixed with noscript.*, the whitelist-related settings are prefixed with capability.policy.maonoscript.* .Hap wrote:If everything is kept in prefs.js are all of the settings prefixed with noscript.* or are there noscript settings which have different names?
