Hello,
Recently I've had issues with Google search sites while Noscript is enabled.
If I try to visit sites like http://google.nl or http://google.com it looks like firefox is not even attempting to load the sites. The page is entirely blank, and if I click the NoScript icon, it brings me to the general noscript settings page, rather than allowing me to enable or disable scripting sites for http://google.nl or http://google.com specifically.
When I disable Noscript in the Firefox addons, google search sites load fine.
I wondered if I screwed up my settings somehow, so I reset my Noscript settings and restarted firefox, but I still get the same issues.
Kind regards,
Thels.

Re: Google search sites disabled
Oddly enough, when I click any of the above links, the site does load just fine.
It's only a problem when I enter the google search site directly into the address bar, or when I enter a search term into the address bar.

Not seeing that here with Firefox 57.0.4, new profile, NoScript latest development build. Typing google.com or google.nl into the address bar works fine.
Please create a clean profile from scratch. Install only NoScript latest development build, leaving all the defaults.
Does the problem still exist?
If not, what if you then import your NS settings into the clean profile using the Import/Export buttons in NoScript Options?
If that still doesn't reproduce the problem, NoScript is not the culprit... try Standard Diagnostic (leaving NS enabled) to isolate and correct the real cause.
Let us know, thanks.

Re: Google search sites disabled
It might be that you blocked some XSS false positive to google.com from null origin.
Please try to hit the NoScript Options > [Clear XSS Choices] button.

Clearing the XSS settings fixed the issue. I'll be more careful with that in the future.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Thanks for this! Clearing the xss choices fixed it for me, too. I wouldn't have a clue how this problem happened. I could not get to google no matter how i tried. How did this problem happen?
