Corrupted Content Error

Post by Bratek »

Hi!
I started getting a "Corrupted Content Error" in Firefox 57 recently on the cooksillustrated.com website. I reached out to Mozilla support and they suggested it's my add-ons. So I did some testing. Once I got that error message on that website (that's the only one I've seen it on) I clicked on the No script icon to see if I could "Temporarily allow all this page". Instead I got an "In order to operate on this tab, NoScript needs to reload it. Proceed?" message. It has two choices: "OK" and "Cancel". Nothing happens when I press either of them. Is that expected behavior?

PS. A screen shot might illustrate it better but I don't see an option for that.

No, it is not expected behavior. And I cannot confirm it in Firefox 57.0.2, NoScript 10.1.6.2rc1, new profile.

Please create a clean profile from scratch. Install only NoScript latest development build, leaving all the defaults.
Does the problem still exist?
If not, what if you then import your NS settings into the clean profile using the Import and Export buttons in NS Options?
If that still doesn't reproduce the problem, NoScript is not the culprit... try Standard Diagnostic to isolate and correct the real cause.

Let us know, thanks.
*Always* check the changelogs BEFORE updating that important software!
