Can't click google links and Youtube videos don't work
Ever since Noscript 10 has been released I haven't been able to click on Google search results and youtube videos don't run. If I disable Noscript everything works again. The only other addon I use is Adblock. I never had any issues with the old NoScript. What am I missing in the settings to get it to run?

Re: Can't click google links and Youtube videos don't work
If you are really using Firefox 56, NoScript 10 is not compatible with your browser. You would need to install NoScript Classic, which BTW is still supported.
NoScript 10 only works on Firefox 57 and up.

*Always* check the changelogs BEFORE updating that important software!

How should we know? We don't know your settings, or which domains you made rules for?bigheadache wrote: What am I missing in the settings to get it to run?
usually you only need https://youtube.com and ...googlevideo.com set to trusted, and to make sure that the checkmarks in the "trusted" configuration are set.
(you can double check the last bit in the options window at the bottom with the debug output.
should read :
"TRUSTED": {
"capabilities": [
"script",
"fetch",
"other",
"media",
"frame",
"font",
"webgl",
"object"
],

YouTube works for me with NS 10.1.6 in FF 57.0.2 on Windows 10 and 7. Here are my settings for https://www.youtube.com/:bigheadache wrote:What am I missing in the settings to get it to run?

If this doesn't work for you, you may need to reset NoScript (via the "Reset" button on the settings page). If that doesn't help, you may need to create a new Firefox profile. Also, consider temporarilly disabling other add-ons to see if any of them are interfering with NoScript.

Re: Can't click google links and Youtube videos don't work
In my case, for watching videos and reading comments, I only need to allow youtube.com and googlevideo.com. For googlevideo.com, I can be more restricted and create a Custom rule were only fetch is allowed, thats enough for watching videos. I havent found the need to allow gstatic.

Thanks for all the tips. I ended up doing what FranL suggested and just resetting. I suspect somehow playing with all the settings and given version 10 is new to me i had borked it somehow.
