Hi,
with firefox 3.5 and noscript 1.9.8 docs.google.com using a spreadsheet does not work anymore. On the left side some "undefs" show up. Allowing
all scripts does not work. This is not the case with firefox 3.0 and when disabling the noscript addon.

Re: docs.google.com / Spreadsheet disfunctional
It's not happening for me for the few spreadsheets I've got at hand.
Does your problem persist if you use NoScript Options|Reset, then allow google.com?
If it does, maybe it's specific to the spreadsheet you're using, and I'd appreciate you to give me access to it for testing.
Thanks!

I did reset before even bothering to report here and its the same. Its for ALL spreadsheetsGiorgio Maone wrote:It's not happening for me for the few spreadsheets I've got at hand.

i have - as soon as i open it nothing is klickable and on the left where you typically see the
row numbers there is an "undef" in row 1.
With noscript installed i cant even create a new spreadsheet - In docs.google.com i say
New - > Spreadsheet and it opens a new tab with an empty spreadsheet. I see all elements
but they are all greyed out, unclickable and the first row has a "undef" written left to it.
When i disable the noscript plugin everythings fine - The only other addon is firebug which
is suspended - removing/disabling it doesnt change the result.

Re: docs.google.com / Spreadsheet disfunctional
Definitely not what I can see.
In my previous message I was trying with my extensions-laden default profile with my over-restrictive NoScript settings, and as I said it worked fine.
It also worked perfectly on a new spreadsheet, with no "undef" headers whatsoever.
Now I also tried on a clean profile with just NoScript installed, and had the same results out of the box (no need to allow google.com, since it's in the default whitelist).
Might it be a specific Iceweasel issue? Could you try installing the regular branded Firefox from Mozilla and see if it changes anything?

I had the issues with a downloaded original firefox 3.5 in a folder on my desktop and then installed the debian re-branded iceweasel whileGiorgio Maone wrote:

debugging - same result.
I just retried on a machine next to the laptop and there it works - strange ...

Strange - i just ran it with firebug and i definitly get javascript errors which not happen when i turn off noscript.
Code: Select all
g[c] is undefined
[Break on this error] S.bWa=function(a,b){var c,d=a.Z;this.nf=...Ek=c;this.Kc=d;this.ai=f;this.p8(h+b)};\n
a.tD is null
[Break on this error] S.xV=function(){var a=this.Xa,b=a.tD[Eg]...;this.Xa.Jd.uj(i);this.rW();this.Lt()};\n

Re: docs.google.com / Spreadsheet disfunctional
Meanwhile i got it working by deinstalling all addons - Now it works - I dont get it - one of the disabled addons interacted with
noscript although it was disabled.
*Grmpf*
Thanks - and sorry for the noise.

Could you take an extra step and perform a Standard Diagnostic, so we can find out the interfering add-on?flohoff wrote:Meanwhile i got it working by deinstalling all addons - Now it works - I dont get it - one of the disabled addons interacted with
